Description: 7 hand‑coloured aquatints based on Captain Williamson’s sketches and executed by Samuel Howitt, in the famous volume "Oriental Field Sports", showcasing the diverse fauna and hunting practices of colonial India. First published 1807, these are from the 1819 second edition. Celebrated by collectors and scholars as “the most beautiful book on Indian sport in existence”. In very good condition but some light foxing marks consistent with age, framed.
