Description: This is a lovely example of a vintage Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Camera (Flash Model), produced by Kodak in the United States between 1950 and 1961. Made from heavy black Bakelite plastic, this iconic mid-century box camera features a top-down waist-level viewfinder and was designed to take square 6x6 photos on 620 roll film. The two metal pins visible on the side of the body are the contacts where a detachable pin-on flash unit would connect.
