Lovely antique salted paper print of a whiskered gentleman

Description: A lovely antique salted paper print (possibly from a calotype negative?) of a wonderfully whiskered gentleman. The photo is on a matt paper, with the reddish-brown colouring of calotype prints. The portrait is presented in an oval shape. Calotypes along with daguerreotypes represent the earliest forms of photographs and were puplar from the 1840's to around 1860.
