A pair of original antique stereoview cards, published by Charles Bierstadt and sold through Underwood & Underwood.

2 distinct and dramatic perspectives of Niagara Falls from the late 19th century. Both cards feature the elegant side-typography of Bierstadt’s Niagara Falls studio and the Underwood & Underwood distribution marks. The Set Includes:

  1. No. 7: "Ice Bridge, Niagara" (showing adventurous tourists clambering over the massive frozen blocks),
  2. No. 712: "Prospect Park, Niagara" (brink of the falls view).

Photographer: Charles Bierstadt (1819–1903) was a prolific photographer based in Niagara Falls, renowned for his stereoscopic views that captured the grandeur of the falls for a global audience.

Date: Circa 1880–1889.
