Thames Waterman and his Boat on the Beach at Bankside, vintage poster

Description: A vintage poster print of "Thames Waterman and his Boat on the Beach at Bankside". This sepia toned poster print was published by Plaistow Pictorial, probably around 1975. The original photo is known to have been taken circa 1925-27. This is a large (24" x 16") poster mounted behind card and in a 1970's wood/glass frame. The poster is the full size of the frame, but has been partially obscured by the card mount, which appears to have been glued down to the poster sadly. Normally this image is seen in a clipped portrait format. I have not come across any other instance of the full landscape version. Image shows a Thames Boatman and his boat, at Bankside, London with St. Pauls's Cathedral in the background.
