Weston Master II Exposure Meter, untested
£5.00
Description: Vintage Weston Master II Handheld Exposure Light Meter. A classic piece of mid-century photographic gear: Expertly crafted in England by Sangamo Weston. This iconic, battery-free light meter was the gold standard for film photographers in the 1940s and 50s. This unit comes inside its gorgeous, original brown leather hardshell case featuring a vibrant purple velvet interior.
Condition: Cosmetically in excellent vintage condition. The body is incredibly clean, and the calculator dial spins smoothly. The glass window over the needle scale is clear. The exposure needle responds only slightly, so I'm assuming the selenium cell is dead. Untested for accuracy. The item is being sold primarily as a collector's item or display piece. With some care, it could probably be restored to work again.
